Diedre Reitz is a fifth-year student in Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology, and was awarded an honorable mention in the BSD teaching prize for her work in BIOS 20234, Molecular Biology of the Cell, in Autumn 2016. She was cited for going out of her way to enhance understanding, her extraordinarily helpful discussion section slides, her excitement talking about biology, her extensive knowledge of lab techniques, and her skill in communicating complex concepts.
