John H.R. Maunsell was named the Albert D. Lasker Professor in Neurobiology. Dr. Maunsell is an internationally recognized neuroscientist whose work focusses on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms of vision and perception. Previous honors include election to the American Association for the Advancement of Science as well as the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and an appointment as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator.
