Alexander Clark (Evolutionary Biology) has been selected to receive the Provost's Dissertation Completion Fellowship (Formerly the Harper Fellowship) for 2026-27. This award is the among the highest awards given by the University of Chicago, and only one recipient from the BSD is chosen. The recognizes significant achievement and professional promise, and will facilitate completion of his degree. HIs advisor is Dr. Jingmai O'Connor, Associate Curator of Fossil Reptiles at the Field Museum and Lecturer in the Committee on Evolutionary Biology at the University of Chicago.
