Professor Yoav Gilad (Human Genetics) along with graduate students Katie Rhodes (Human Genetics) and Reem Elorbany (Interdisciplinary Scientist Training Program) identified hundreds of sections of DNA that are associated with differences in gene expression between individuals. These differences, they found, may explain variations in risk for disease.
