Brooke Weigel, PhD candidate in the Committee on Evolutionary Biology has been honored as a recipient of 2019 Wayne C. Booth Prize. The award is given to graduate students for outstanding instruction of undergraduates.
Weigel shares her teaching perspective: "The most rewarding teaching experiences stem from experiential learning, when students pursue independent research project or term papers. When students become extremely invested in a topic, their discoveries are enjoyable for both of us: I learn along with them."
