Sherzod Tokamov Honored for Oustanding Performance in DRSB

During the 537th Convocation Ceremony, dozens of this year's Ph.D. and MD graduates received divisional and program awards for research projects and overall excellence. During the section for Ph.D. Program Awards, Sherzod Tokamov was awarded for Outstanding Performance in the general field of development, regeneration and stem cell biology. This award is a sign of recognition of his hard work and commitment to the field, along with his dissertation "Regulation of hippo signaling via proteolytic degradation and actomyosin dynamics". His advisor is Richard Fehon, Ph.D. As Tokamov begins a new chapter, he will continue his work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, CA.
