Szymon Kordon has been awarded the PhD Program Award for Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics during the 2024 convocation ceremonies at the University of Chicago Medicine. Szymon’s outstanding dissertation, “Conformational and Functional Coupling Between Extracellular and Transmembrane Regions Define Adhesion GPCR Latrophilin-3 Signaling,” has earned him this prestigious recognition. His advisor is Demet Arac-Ozkan.
