A video made by UC Creative's Anthony Penta about work with the California two-spot octopus in Clifton Ragsdale (Neurobiology) has won a 2016 Chicago/Midwest Region Emmy. Carrie Albertine (PhD '16) co-authored the paper published in Nature about the octopus's genome sequencing, with neurobiology graduate student Z. Yan Wang in Ragsdale's lab also listed. Ragsdale, Albertine, and Wang are all featured in the video.
