My research focuses on understanding and uncovering the genetic basis and biological mechanisms of diseases by combining computational genomics, statistical genetics, and human genetics. We are particularly interested in interpreting disease-associated genetic variants with functional genomics, single cell omics and gene regulatory networks. We are also broadly interested in understanding genetic architectures of diseases across populations and improving the portability of genetic prediction.
